Los Angeles Birthe Office California Vital Records County Registrar
Getting the certificate as a child : In almost all countries around the world, a child is registered immediately after birth or within the first six months. Registration is done by the child's parents or by designated guardians. The constitution goes further to stipulate that even if the child dies at birth, he/she must be registered.
Your birth certificate has specific information about you. It shows where you were born, when you were born, your nationality, weight at birth, and even the time of your birth. It shows your legal name at birth, and in many cases, the names of your mother and father, and helps show lineage. Many birth records also have another identification number, not your national insurance number assigned to them.
